Analyzing Editorials

1. Blog commenting: comment on the thumbnail editorials from last class. Feel free to agree or respectfully disagree with people’s opinions on things...this should also help you to get ideas for the editorial you are going to be writing.

2. Choose an editorial to read on your own from the NYT opinion pages.. As you read, I would like you to annotate and take notes on the analyzing editorials handout.

HW: Choose an editorial topic, begin making a list of pros and cons to your argument using the debatable issues graphic organizer
